Hitch Thoughts

The eminent polemicist ,Christopher Hitchens, played his life innings and left significant mark on the course of history of journalism before becoming himself a part of history. I got acquainted with Christopher Hitchens through Youtube. This hour long video had a huge impact along my quest to understand the big questions about metaphysical world. Though this video was uploaded on 16 Aug 2007 soon after he gave his talk in Google but I came across this video in early 2010.This eloquent orator instantly grabbed my attention with his undeniable argumentative style. So far more than three quarter of a million people around the globe have watched this video and became one of the most viewed talks on AtGoogleTalks channel.

Since this acquaintance I became regular and avid reader of his work . The book “God is not great” is a masterpiece of his literary skills and the case against God and religion. His contentiously argued against religion describing how it poison everything. He debated with his brother, Peter Hitchens, and former UK prime minster Tony Blair that religion can't be a force of goodness in the world. People dissented with his nuance religious and political views but they unequivocally praised immaculate and subtle debating skills. He will be source of inspiration for many in years to come.
